Different Perspective

Today got my child admitted to Gyan Bharati school . The requirements with the form were pretty weird- Good health certificate for child. Draft of Rs 7K And we were just given 3 days to do the needful, else the chance is gone. Now why is a certificate required?? just take an undertaking from the parents, so incase you are found lying your admission is annulled. And what's the need for DD when most parents are from closeby and from Delhi, and even if they give the cheque it will be cleared in a day-2... The session starts from April 1 and not tomorrow...But seems people just don't seem to think practically now a days. Good part is that unlike most schools which are charging around 25-50k for nursery admission, Gyan Bharati just charges 7k. I am an alumni of the school and it was started with the principle of keeping it economical, glad they have not lost the way completely. Admission seems a big victory, as today in newspaper read that 1.75 lacks children are still...

I never liked going to school, i always hate to do what others tell me. So i hated uniforms, hated homework etc. Even though i always decent numbers and thus there was little that teachers could complain about my studies to parents. Regrading others things, i was part of the system and made to comply. With college I got partially independent, but engineering colleges aint that much different from schools. Teachers blackmailing you for practical marks, and lab asses trying to act smart. Finished education, started job and then actually began to enjoy things, learning what you want, no exams to judge you (well appraisals are generally for ass lickers or perception, so never cared).. NOW WHY AM I SAYING ALL THIS????? My kid is now 3+ and has to start nursery.. So now again i have to follow schools rules. Every school takes a good amount in the name of prospectus and processing.. Now when the economy is bad every penny hurts.. Moreover, seems like seats are 2 few and children too many.. E...
